Fitter Happier- Immersive Audio
In designing the audio experience for the game inspired by Radiohead's "Fitter Happier," aimed to immerse players in an environment that evokes feelings of overwork and fatigue, much like the thematic elements depicted in the song.
I created a scene reflective of workplace fatigue. In terms of audio, I utilised Meta Sound to create footsteps and jumping sounds, employing Random nodes to modulate pitch and achieve varied auditory effects. Additionally, I engineered sounds for fire, leveraging Meta Sound's spatialisation capabilities to create dynamic audio experiences based on the player's position and orientation within the virtual environment.
Furthermore, I integrated the Niagara system to develop audio visualisation, allowing particles to synchronise with the player's auditory experiences, thereby enhancing immersion.
